One pot, one block, ten years.

It started with Grandma Ruth's copper stockpot and a rented storefront on Chestnut Avenue.

Chef-owners Lena and Andre Price opened the Kettle in 2014 with eleven tables and a menu that fit on a chalkboard. The short rib braised for eight hours. The pot pies came out of the same cast iron every night.

Ten years later there are more booths and a back room for parties — but the chalkboard is still there, and so is the stockpot.
